Villages of Eastern Tangkhul

                                          Tangkhul Naga Villages in Burma

Tangkhul is a tribe living in the Indo-Burma border area occupying the Ukhrul district in Manipur, India and the Somra Tangkhul hills (Somra tract) in Upper Burma. Despite this international border, Tangkhul has continued to regard themselves as "one nation".

THE NAGAS IN BURMA

The Nagas in Burma is found mainly in the Sagaing Division of Burma, which borders Chin State in the south, Shan State in the east, Kachin State in the north. (Assam, Arunachal, Manipur and Nagaland states
of India in the West.)
